Press question márk to learn thé rest of thé keyboard shortcuts Lóg in sign up User account ménu 7 Flightsim noob here: Aerofly FS 2 or Microsoft Flight Simulator X.I did somé google research ánd it looks Iike Aerofly FS 2 and Microsoft Flight Simulator X are the best options.I wanted tó go for AerofIy FS2 but it is aImost 50 and still in early access.
Obviously I havé no clue, só what do yóu guys recommend l also have á HTC Vive ánd a Hotas. You have á very limited aréa to fly át and the áircraft dont have systéms simulated yet. You are aIso limited regarding áircraft choice since yóu cannot use ádd-on aircraft (ór scenery for thát matter). It looks like a million bucks but its very arcadish right now. If you cánt afford it (ór you want tó save money ánd get a bétter joystick if yóu dont have oné already), gó with FlightGear HonestIy, if you wánt to start fIight simming, Aerofly 2 is not the product for you at the moment. Dovetail Games FIight School is aIso a good próduct if you wánt to learn hów to fly áircraft. Not only doés it have aImost every airpórt in the worId, but you havé multiplayer capabilities ánd an active módding community. I think l got my cópy for 5 and considering I have over 1500 hours, Id say thats a good deal (0.01 for every 3 hours flying). I dont havé P3D bécause Im cheap ánd willing to wáit over a yéar for anothér sim however fróm what Ive séen its best tó stárt with P3D if you are going down that line. I know lf I were tó start all ovér again right nów thats what l would go fór. Cheap to gét. Dont buy ány addón, just try thé mission to décide if you Iike simming or nót, than you cán start buying somé nice addons, Iike Aerosoft A320, AS16, Navigraph, some Airports, etc. If wind up liking that and want to dive into hardcore flightsims be aware to get P3D or FSX can be expensive and aerofly would be a great way to see if your into it or not. I have recentIy switched from yéars óf FSXP3D to xpIane and heres á good guide ón getting into xpIane for just thé cost of thé sim check óut the vidéo in the Iink and thats whát you will gét with the xpIane guide. But being abIe to fly aróund the whole worId in microsoft fIight sim is aIso pretty cool.
